The Odaku flag.

The Odaku are a kingdom of Warriors from the eastern lands that warred against the Draigar and Norvagen. They eventually made peace with the Norvagen and Draigar kingdoms at the end of the Metal Ages.

The symbol of the Odaku army is a side profile of a serpentine dragon. The Odaku warriors rallied under a red banner of a black Odaku symbol.

Equipment[]

Warriors of the Odaku are clad in a distinctive gold and red armour, with ornate golden helmets bearing silver or grey crests.

The Odaku wield various blades, hammers, and crossbows enchanted by energies stolen by the Shadow Dragons. Some warriors also carry tall metal shields bearing the Odaku symbol on a red or yellow field.

The army was also supported by siege towers and advanced cannons during their attacks against the Norvagen and Draigar.

  • Scylla (formerly): Ruthless witch-queen of the Odaku, who usurped the throne for her own dark purposes. Forged an alliance with Stendhal and the Shadow Dragons to further her evil ambitions.
  • Gorhagar: True heir to the Odaku throne, who led a band of rebels against Scylla and allied with Princess Kyra and Prince Dev from the Draigar-Norvagen alliance to recover the Lodestone Krystal. After Scylla was defeated, Gorhagar became the leader of the Odaku.

  • Argentum, the Silver Armour Dragon: An irate but loyal Wrathwyvern dragon.
  • Irascor, the Copper Armour Dragon: A strong and aggressive Stormgorgon dragon.
  • Rutilus, the Gold Armour Dragon: A brave Wrathwyvern dragon who guards the Ramparts of Ryousan.
  • Clawdagger, the Tin Armour Dragon: Member of a tribe of treacherous dragons believed to be related to Stendhal.
  • Fearswoop, the Lead Armour Dragon: Member of a clan of aggressive dragons whose horns can puncture most metals.

Trivia[]

  • The Odaku are heavily influenced by Asian cultures, including China and Japan.
    • Most of their structures, including the Ramparts Of Ryousan, have designs reminiscent of East Asian architecture.
    • The Odaku's crested helmets are reminiscent of helms worn by samurai.
    • Members of the Odaku with exposed faces (Gorhagar, Scylla, and Kraugn) appear slightly Asian.
    • Many of the warriors' names are Japanese words.
    • The Odaku's swords resemble Chinese dao and Japanese katana.
